Meet the Artist

Cesar Aguilera, known for his mixed media paintings and accomplishments in drawing, painting, sculpture, film, make-up and effects, and fashion design, has become a pillar of the art community in SWFL.

With his rich history in our local area, Cesar has forged a new era in community service by providing the communities we love with overwhelming inspiration and contribution. Working on murals to brighten our streets and schools with history and remembrance, Cesar has contributed to a multitude of projects, including work at many local organizations, schools, and police departments, memorializing fallen Officer Julian Keen in the streets of La Belle. With his co-founded business, Artsemble Underground, he has worked on murals at many local businesses, organizations, and private spaces from Cape Coral to Miami.

His mixed media pieces embrace traditional media such as oils and acrylics and unconventional materials such as coffee, bleach, discarded technology, and found objects of every type and design.

Aguilera's body of work evinces a passion to change the injustices wrought by humans on each other, the animal kingdom, and the environment. The preservation of life inspires Cesar's art. He focuses on beauty in even the smallest of things. He wishes to amplify the celebration of human achievement with the voice of his artwork while engaging a passion for preserving our natural wonders.
